Almost 30 years ago, Efy & Penina invited a few Jewish Towson students for a Friday night meal.

Since then Efy and Penina Flamm have dedicated themselves to reaching out to thousands of Jewish college students on the Towson, Goucher, Johns Hopkins, and UMBC campuses.

For many of the students who are a part of JCN, often their only attachment to any Jewish life is through the Flamm’s Friday night Shabbos dinners, or some of the JCN’s other programming. Efy & Penina excel in making students feel comfortable while exploring their heritage, through exciting and authentic Jewish experiences.
